Emma B joined us at the beginning of April and delved straight in to working on research and writing plans.

Technical Assistant – how did that happen? Since leaving school, I have always worked in Financial Services. I’ve worked previously as an adviser, but over time it has become clear that my skills are suited towards a detailed technical role as I thrive on constantly learning, problem solving and producing detailed analysis and reports.

What drew you to JSFPL? To work within a close-knit professional team, to continue to build my technical knowledge and to work for a Chartered Financial Planning firm.

What keeps you smiling at work everyday? The team and also doing a great job for our clients!

What are you saving for? Family holidays with all the generations!

When you’re not at JSFPL, what keeps you busy? Running around after my two-year-old, catching up with family and friends and trying to find time to keep fit.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be? To trust that life will pan out exactly as it is meant to and not to be too impatient or worry!

What goals are you working towards now? To continue to increase my technical knowledge and once established in my new role, to resume studying towards becoming Chartered.
