What we’ve been up to – January 2020

January is a hard month, I think most of you will agree. It’s the post-Christmas come down from having spent time with family and friends, time out from the usual day-to-day tasks and so much festive spirit – it’s always hard getting back to the normal routine.

However, we had some wonderful news to boost us through the first couple of weeks – we have officially achieved CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm status, which is a very big deal! We also undertook and achieved recertification for BS8577 and individual ISO22222 recertification for Nicola. You’ll have to read our awards article to find out why we do these things and what they actually mean, but we’re very excited about them!

In our November newsletter, we mentioned about choosing our charity for the year. We want to choose charities that mean something to us and our clients and we would love your input. If there is a charity that is close to your heart that you would like us to consider, please email Amy on amy@janesmithfinancial.com

We have decided to change how often we send our newsletters to you. Going forward, we will be sending them on a quarterly basis, which means our newsletters this year will be this January edition, April, July, and October. We have been sending them every other month but decided to spread them out every quarter give you more to read, just slightly less frequently. We hope you continue to enjoy them and if you have any specific subjects you would like us to cover in one of our articles, please email Amy at amy@janesmithfinancial.com
