Reflection – saying farewell to 2018

As this is our last newsletter for 2018, it feels appropriate to briefly reflect on a few key changes we have seen over the last year.

The biggest thing to mention is obviously the team! Clare, Michael and Hannah all joined us this year and are now firmly settled in. What we mean by that is they’ve been told they’re not allowed to leave. To have such a change in staff for a small team like ourselves has had a huge impact, but most definitely a positive one. Other staff have changed roles and taken on new challenges and we cannot wait to see how we continue to develop as a team in 2019!

Earlier this year we held a coffee morning in aid of Alzheimers Society and raised over £600 which was fantastic. Each team member chose a charity which has personal importance and then picked one out of a hat. As we do one event every year to raise money for charity and try to choose a cause that means something to us, we would love your input too. If there is a charity that is close to your heart that you would like us to consider, please email Amy on amy@janesmithfinancial.com and we will get in touch.

Finally…

We have a Wreath Making event coming up at the end of November and then we are on the home straight for the festive period. With this in mind, the office is shut from 12pm Friday 21st December until 8am Wednesday 2nd January 2019. After such a busy year, we all look forward to a well-earned rest and time with friends and family.

We would like to thank you for your continued support throughout 2018 and hope you all have a wonderful time over the festive holiday. Eat, drink and be merry and we look forward to what 2019 is yet to bring.
